Stephen Longo completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California - Los Angeles (UCLA) where he graduated in the College Honors Program in 2008. He immediately started law school at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles where he graduated in 2011 with a concentration in civil litigation.

While in Los Angeles, Longo started his career by taking an internship at The Law Offices of Geragos & Geragos, believing he would be working on high profile celebrity and criminal cases. Instead, he was assigned to the now Honorable Shelley Kaufman working in the firm's civil litigation department.

He then moved on to a five-year tenure at one of the best and most respected law firms in the country. There, he cut his teeth in catastrophic injury, toxic tort, and wrongful death cases working with and learning from some of the best attorneys in the country before moving to Colorado in 2012.

Longo picked up right where he left off in Los Angeles. At the age of 26, Stephen Longo was lead counsel on a catastrophic ​​trucking accident that resulted in a $3,850,000 recovery for his client. He was immediately recognized by the Million-Dollar and Multi-Million Dollar Advocate Forums - the latter of which has only 36 members in Colorado. At the age of 30, Longo became a managing supervisor for the personal injury department of a major television advertising law firm in Colorado. During this time, he was recognized by The National Trial Lawyers, SuperLawyers, Avvo.com, Best Lawyers in America, and America's Top Litigators, amongst others.​ Attorney Longo has obtained tens of millions of dollars in verdicts and settlements for clients. He also regularly provides legal commentary for KOAA Channel 5 News in Colorado Springs. He is currently licensed to practice law in Arizona, Colorado, California and the District of Columbia.

Brittney Longo

Stephen Longo founded The Longo Firm, LLC, with his wife, Brittney. “Brittney is the bedrock of the firm,” Stephen Longo said. “What we do and how we do it isn’t always easy. She reminds us ‘why’ we do what we do. It’s all for our clients.” Brittney serves as an essential member of the firm’s legal team, working as its office manager and coordinating many of the complex elements (detailed court filings, client meetings, etc.) that go into making a successful legal case. “She makes sure everyone’s on the same page,” Stephen said. She’s also actively involved in community outreach for the law firm and making sure clients remain actively informed about the status of their legal case.

Madelayne Badgwell

Madelayne works as the lead paralegal at The Longo Firm, LLC. A valued team member, Madelayne has worked with attorney Longo for more than eight years and has an in-depth understanding of personal injury law and how the legal system actually works. Madelayne assists attorney Longo in the detailed research and development of legal cases at the firm. Like other members of the firm’s legal team, Madelayne provides a personalized approach to every case she’s involved with at the firm. “Our legal team works really well together,” Stephen Longo said. “We couldn’t do what we do without highly-skilled, dedicated employees like Madelayne.”
