Why We Don’t Increase Fees to Litigate

After an auto collision, friends and family may tell you to get an attorney on your case. You may ask: can I afford an attorney? How much will it cost? Will I have to pay anything out of pocket?

The Basics of a Contingency Fee

At The Longo Firm, you will never pay anything out of pocket for your auto accident case. As a Colorado Springs personal injury law firm, we work solely on a contingency fee basis. This means that we are not paid until we win your case. We never ask our clients to pay anything out of pocket to us. Our contingency fee is 1/3 or 33.33% and it will not increase.

What Makes Us Different

The difference with our contingency fee is that it will not increase – even if a lawsuit needs to be filed or we take the case to trial. Most other personal injury law firms increase their fee to 40% if a lawsuit needs to be filed or your case goes to trial. 40%! That is additional to any case costs or medical bills that need to be paid out of the settlement.

The Longo Firm places our Clients First – Always, so you’ll never have to pay more than a 33.33% contingency fee.

Why We Choose To Be Different

In most cases, our clients never want to file a lawsuit in their case or take their case to trial. Most of the time this is done because the insurance company is unreasonable and will not offer what we believe to be full + fair value of your case.

At The Longo Firm, we don’t believe in making our clients pay more because the insurance company is unreasonable.

Having an attorney who is experienced with personal injury and car accident cases is important to make sure you get full value for your case. The Longo Firm is always committed to our clients and their cases. Clients are never just another case to us. They are never assigned a case number.

Clients First - Always.
